I moved to the Pacific Northwest in the late 1990s and quickly became captivated by the region's stunning natural beauty. My career began as a research engineer in high technology, specializing in optics and materials. Photography started as a hobby, but over time it became a passionate pursuit. After retiring from engineering in 2016, I turned my attention fully to photography, combining my technical background with a love for experimentation.
